A spokesman said: “This will be an event for all the family to come out and support and cheer on your favourite soapbox, with soapboxes from Ballykeel,Doury Road, Harryville Men’s Shed and Dunvale all taking part.

“North Ballymena Community Cluster is a cross community organisation and the event will profile how communities from different areas can engage in a bit of fun.

“Each soapbox will be timed as they make the descent from the top of the Woodside Road until near the finish line down beside the car park of the G.A.A club.

“It is not to late for anyone interested in entering the event, and admission to enter a soapbox is free.”

The cluster hope the event is well attended and that all have a good day out.
