Ballymena Somme parade details

BALLYMENA Branch of the Royal British Legion, in conjunction with the Borough Council, will commemorate the 95th Anniversary of The Battle of The Somme on Friday, July 1.

Legionnaires, Naval, Army and Royal Air Forces Associations should assemble at The Services Club at 6.30pm.

The Parade, led by Castlegore Band, will step off at 7.00pm and March to the Memorial Gardens via Trostan Avenue, Castle St, Bridge St, Waveney Road, Galgorm Road.

On arrival at the Memorial Gardens a Service of Remembrance will commence at approximately 7.20pm. The Service will be led by Rev Maureen Hassard, Ballymena Methodist Church. Following the short Service, Wreaths will be placed on the War Memorial.
