Ballymena teen denies assaulting PSNI officers
A BALLYMENA teenager is denying charges of assaults on police, his solicitor told the local Magistrates Court.
John McAtamney was speaking on behalf of his client, Justin Dunlop (18), of Dunclug Park, who is accused of two counts of assaulting police and further charges of disorderly behaviour and resisting police.
The offences are alleged to have taken place at Galgorm Road on April 26.
DUnlop’s case was adjourned until June 24 after Mr McAtamney said his client had made a complaint to the Police Ombudsman.
