Ballymena Writers to stage entertainment at Arts Festival

BALLYMENA Writers’ Group are delighted to be invited to take part in this year’s Ballymena Arts Festival.

They will be staging a great night’s entertainment featuring poetry, prose, stories and music in the Braid’s studio theatre on Monday, April 18, at 8pm. Admission £5 which is payable on the night or via tickets from the Braid reception.

Mrs Mary Higgins, Story teller and President of the Writers Group, which was formed in 1992, says: “The Writers Group has performed at various events over the years in the old Town Hall and lately in the new Braid Arts Centre. We always enjoy giving entertainment and we hope that we can make people laugh”.
