Ballymoney High School – 50 successful years educating young people

Governors, teachers and staff of Ballymoney High School, past and present, celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of Ballymoney High School with a Gala Ball, held in the Royal Court Hotel Portrush on Friday 16th September.

Anniversary events commenced in June past with an award winning exhibit of photographs and memorabilia at Ballymoney Agricultural Show.

Forthcoming events include a Table Quiz, Fashion Show, Concert, Ballymoney Museum Exhibition, Summer Fair and Thanksgiving Service.

Principal Rodney Scott commented: “Celebrating the standards and successes established over 50 years motivates us to maintain relevant and rewarding high quality education for young people of all abilities in our community.”

The school’s staff have kicked off the anniversary celebrations and now it is your turn. You are all invited to a family fun quiz on Wednesday 30th November 2011.

The fun will start at 7.30 pm and all family members are welcome, there will be rounds to suit everyone and a delicious light supper. Tables can be made up of 4 – 6 people so get a team together and join us in Ballymoney High School on the 30th.
