Ballymoney Mayor’s Show 2012

Preparations are underway for this year’s Ballymoney Mayor’s Show which takes place on Saturday 30 June.

There is always an excellent entry of floats, vintage and classic vehicles and this year promises to be no exception as entries are already flooding in.

Anyone wanting to enter a vehicle into the show can still do so as entries for cars, motorbikes, tractors, steam engines, stationary engines, commercial and haulage vehicles can be submitted up until Friday 15 June.

The theme for the Community Floats section of this year’s show is “So Much to Remember, So Much to Celebrate”. Local voluntary and community groups who would like to enter a float can apply for a grant to assist with the costs. This is subject to meeting a number of conditions which are set out in the application pack. All applications for this must be returned by Friday 8 June.
