Police arrested a 65 year old man on suspicion of drink driving after he was stopped in Castle Street, Ballymoney at around 3pm on Saturday 25 October. He was arrested shortly after leaving a shop in the area.

Police arrested a man on suspicion of shop lifting after an incident in a shop in Castle Street, Ballymoney at around half nine on the evening of Saturday 25 October. The man was stopped by store security staff and then arrested by officers.

Police are investigating a theft at dog kennels in the Mullan Road area of Ballymoney. Officers believe that the theft happened sometime between 11pm on Sunday 19 October and the morning of Monday 20 October. A generator is thought to have been stolen along with dog coats and other pieces of equipment.

Police recovered 53 turkeys which are thought to have been stolen from a local farm. The turkeys were found in the back of a van which was stopped in the Station Road area of Dunloy in the early hours of Tuesday 21 October. Investigating officers have also arrested three men in connection to the theft. The men have been released on police bail as investigations continue.

Police arrested a man on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident in the Trinity Drive area of Ballymoney on Wednesday 22 October. A man was taken to hospital by ambulance as a result of the incident, but his injuries were not serious. The man who was arrested has been released on police bail.
