Ballymoney police notes

Police in Ballymoney are investigating a number of matters.

Police are investigating criminal damage caused to a house on the Tullaghans Road area of Finvoy on Tuesday, 1st July.

A window at the house was broken and outside taps left running. The police investigation into the matter is continuing.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Ballymoney police on the non-emergency number 101.

Also, police received a report that two HGV flat bed trailers were damaged when parked in a lay-by on the Tummock Road area of Ballymoney.

Straps were cuts, lights broken and air brakes were damaged during the incident. Police enquiries are continuing.

In a separate incident, police are investigating a report of criminal damage caused to a house in the Gracehill Road area of Stranocum.

Almost every window of the house was broken sometime between 11pm on Wednesday, 2nd July and the morning of Thursday, 3rd July. Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area at the time.

Finally, police are investigating the break-in of a house in the Farran Road area of Ballymoney.

The incident is thought to have happened at around just after 2pm on Friday, 4th July.

The house was ransacked during the burglary but it is unclear exactly what was taken. Detectives are investigating the matter at present.
