Ballymoney U3A gets off to flying start

The newly launched U3A group in Ballymoney has got off to a flying start in 2015.

Now, in August, the group can boast of over 70 paid up members.

The next monthly meeting will be on Tuesday 1st September at 11am (Refreshments available from 10.30am).

The venue is the Old Courthouse, Charlotte Street, and the speaker will be Tony McGonigle on the subject of ‘Community Engagement’.

The U3A is open to all retired or semi-retired people regardless of age.

All are very welcome to join the Ballymoney U3A.

A wide variety of activities are offered, for example Art, Bridge, Family History, Golf and IT are proving very popular with Gardening, the Book Club well attended. Photography has generated the most interest during the summer months.

Walking Group offers both short and longer walks.

From September, Crafts Creative Writing and Yoga will be on offer.
