The U3A, as it is widely known, is a charitable organisation for retired and semi-retired people who want to keep mentally and physically fit.

Members meet together in groups on a weekly or monthly basis to pursue a wide range of interests, such as walking, book groups, learning a language, bridge and crafts. All U3As draw upon the knowledge, experience and skills of its members to organise and provide interest groups at minimal costs to members. The U3A believes that learning and sharing of knowledge in a friendly and informal setting is for fun and pleasure, not for qualifications.

You can get more information from our website: www.u3ani.info or contact Mavis Turner on 028 9079 8416

If you think you may be interested in joining, or helping to start a new U3A in the Ballymoney area, then come along to our launch meeting in Ballymoney Town Hall on Tuesday 24 March at 2pm.
