Ballymoney United Loyalists parade

Ballymoney United Loyalists will be holding a Protest Parade this weekend against the Parades Commission’s persecution of Loyalist culture in Ardoyne, Portadown, Dunloy, Rasahrkin and Ballycastle.

The Parade will be held on Saturday 28th March in Ballymoney Town Centre. Parade will assemble at 6pm in Townhead Street Car Park, Ballymoney with Parade moving off at 6:30pm precisely. A number of bands have been invited to attend (bands by invite only). Member of the Loyal Orders are invited to attend - Banners, Bannerettes and Flags are welcome.

Parade route will be Townhead Street, North Road, High Street, Main Street, Meetinghouse Street, Queen Street, Church Street, High Street, Townhead Street. The Parade will pause at High Street/Church Street for 10 minutes, bands are requested to continue playing and parade participants maintain ranks - 10 minutes is the amount of time taken for the Bands and Lodges of Ardoyne to return home past the Ardoyne shops on the 12th July. Guests representing Brethren and Bands from Ardoyne will be in attendance. A warm invitation is extended to Members of the Loyal Orders and fellow Loyalists to paradend show their support for bands and lodges affected by Parades Commission determinations.
