Ballymoney WI meeting
Riada Area Spring Meeting hosted by Ballymoney WI took place on 27th April in 1st Ballymoney Church Hall and was presided over by Area Chairperson Irene Burke. Institute reports were received from Ballintoy, Bushmills, and Portrush WI’s.
The Sub-committees reports for Arts (Marlene Walsh), Balmoral (Inez Richmond) and Magazine (Beverly Simpson) were submitted.
Executive Member, Anne Kirkwood presented her annual report which was then followed by the guest speaker for the evening (Angela Wilson - food hygienist).
Irene Burke and Anne Kirkwood presented a variety of WI Awards. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Bushmills WI and concluded with the singing of the Country Women’s song.
