Ballymoney wind turbine approved by Planners

At last Monday’s meeting of Ballymoney Council, members heard that Andrew Clark had applied to erect a 250kw wind turbine 340m south west of 14 Friary Road.

A plan for a two storey house near Lisconnan Road in Ballymoney has been passed by Planners despite two letters of objection.

The application by Paul Gray was for land south west of Lisconnan Road for a two storey dwelling with a detached garage.

Objections were based on the impact of traffic but Planners were content with the application and it was approved.

An application for a rear extension to Granagh Orange hall has been approved by Planners.
