Ballynure ladies enjoy jewellery making demo

VICE President Meryl Speer welcomed members to the April meeting of Ballynure Women's Institute.

The guest speaker, Dorothy Robinson from Rothley Beads, explained how she started making jewellery and gave a display of some of her designs. She then demonstrated how to make a necklace. Liz Steele proposed the vote of thanks.

Eleanor Cochrane won the competition for a bunny, with Roberta Stitt second and Julie Bingham third. Isobel Bingham won the monthly magazine prize.
