Ballyrobert burglary: Police investigate £4,000 theft

Police officers are appealing for information following a burglary that took place in the Gravelhill Road area of Ballyrobert.

The incident, in which items with a total value of around £4,000 were taken from the property, took place in the early hours of Friday morning (January 29).

It is understood that some of the items stolen include various pieces of farm equipment and tools.

A spokesperson from the PSNI said: “Assorted equipment to the value of approximately £4,000 along with a quantity of animal drugs were taken. We are now appealing to the public to see if they observed anything which could possibly assist in the apprehension of those involved. Did you see anything suspicious or anything that seemed out of the ordinary?”

Police in Newtownabbey are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that could assist with the investigation to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
