Banbridge and Rathfriland libraries mark Bookstart Week

Banbridge and Rathfriland Libraries will be joining National Bookstart Week celebrations by inviting pre-school children and their parents/carers to special Rhythm and Rhymes sessions.

The sessions will take place at Banbridge Library at 10am and 11am and at Rathfriland Library at 10.30am tomorrow (Wednesday, June 11).

A spokesperson said: “Every parent is a hero to their children, but even heroes need a helping hand to hone their skills. That’s why this June, all parents and carers from across Northern Ireland are being asked to don their superhero masks, reveal theirsecret powers and go to a Rhythm and Rhyme session in their local library.”
