Band member dies during Twelfth celebrations
The Twelfth of July celebrations in Lurgan were tainted with tragedy after a member of a flute band died following a parade in the town.
The man, understood to be a regular visitor to Lurgan with Broxburn Band from Scotland, died following Friday evening’s return parade in Lurgan.
His death has sent shockwaves through the loyalist community and messages of sympathy have come from local band members and brethren alike.
