Band parade in Limavady on Friday

A band parade in Limavady on Friday night, May 8, 2015, and police have warned of possible traffic delays.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Up to 50 bands have been notified for the event, which is being organised by the Star of the Roe Flue Band.

“The parade will gather at Mill Place to set off at about 8.30. The route will take the bands around the town centre and back to Mills Street to conclude at about 11pm.

“Traffic in the town centre will be diverted while the bands are on the route.

“Meanwhile, one band will parade from the vicinity of Limavady Grammar School at 7.30pm to join up with the main parade at the bus depot.”
