Bands in concert at Rathriland High School

A great line up of local bands will feature in a concert in Rathfriland High School on Friday 17th April at 7:30pm.

The concert is aimed at raising funds for a team of 15/16 people from 2nd and 3rd Rathfriland Presbyterian Church who are going on missionary outreach work in Romania this July.

The group is being led by the minister, the Rev Seamus Burke) in a venture entitled ‘Project Romania’.

Taking part in what is described as ‘a brilliant concert for a worthy cause’ are: A quartet from Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band, Ravara Pipe Band, Upper Crossgare Pipe Band, Ballinran Flute Band, Legananny Accordian Band and Rathfriland Silver Band.

An open invitation is extended to all to attend and a warm welcome is assured.

Admission (payable at the door) is £10 for adults, £5 for senior citizens and £5 for under 16s.
