Bands urged to apply for funding

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has confirmed that they will run the Musical Instruments for Bands Funding Scheme this year.

The scheme will open on April 8th with a deadline for applications of April 25th. All details to be found on the Arts Council website - www.artscouncil-ni.org

Commenting Mr. Storey said: “Our marching bands play an extremely important role in our community. They at great expense keep the bands on the road. It is therefore welcome that the Arts Council again this year will run the Musical Instruments Funding scheme.

“I would encourage our local bands to apply and if they need any help or assistance they should contact my office.”
