Bann flows to Dinner Day success
TWELVE handicapper Jim Bann was in full spate as he claimed victory in the Dinner Day bowl competition on Saturday at Portstewart Golf Club.
Jim was five over par gross going out and this gave him 19 points.
A solid start to the back nine was interrupted by a no score at the par three twelfth but a birdie four at the thirteenth made up for that.
A nice steady run in gave Jim another 20 points for his winning total of 39.
