Banned for excess alcohol offence
A LURGAN man was banned from driving last Thursday at Craigavon court for an excess alcohol offence.
Jonathan Blemings (23), of Russell Drive, Lurgan, was fined 300 and banned for 13 months. On completion of a course for drinking and driving the ban would be reduced by three months.
The court heard he was stopped on December 24 last year at Knockramer Meadows and a blood test gave a reading of 154.
