Bar licence for Ballymoney Swimming Club

BALLYMONEY Borough Council has granted Ballymoney Amateur Swimming Club permission to seek a bar licence for their fund-raising Gala dinner, to be held in the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, on Saturday 20th March.

During a recent Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting, members heard that the Trust awarded over 56,000 to 175 young people representing over 30 sports.

The report explained: “The Chairman of the Ballymoney Amateur Swimming Club has written to the Council advising of the clubs plans to hold a fund-raising Gala dinner in the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre on Saturday 20th March and are seeking permission to have an occasional bar licence for the event.

“It is recommended that Council grant permission.”
