Barcelona trip for Loreto

A PARTY of 39 students and five teachers from Loreto College Coleraine, Specialist School, will travel to Barcelona next week for a four-day trip.

The students, all of whom are currently in Year 10 at Loreto, will enjoy a number of varied activities during their stay, as well as having the opportunity to use and improve their Spanish language skills.

The group’s packed itinerary includes a trip to the Barcelona Nou Stadium and trial of the Virtual Experience Barcelona, and a trip to the Parc Guell, which offers beautiful views of the city as well as an insight into the works of the artist Antoni Gaudi.

The students and their teachers will also spend a full day at the Port Aventura Theme Park, visit an Aquatic Park in Port Aventura.

They will also have an opportunity to explore the city’s Aquarium and the Maremagnum aquatic centre.

Before coming home, the Loreto group will visit the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and enjoy some retail therapy in the city centre.
