Barnardo’s boosted by Knit and Natter groups

Local Library Knit and Natter groups have been putting their needles together in support of the Barnardo’s NI Barney Bear campaign.

Members from Carrickfergus and Whitehead Library took part in sessions following an appeal by the children’s charity to help create a range of unique jumpers for Barney.

The Barneys and their individually created jumpers, with each knitter’s name attached, will be raffled to raise funds for vital work with less-advantaged and vulnerable children across Northern Ireland.
