Battery theft
Police in Strand Road are appealing for information following the theft of two large batteries from mobile traffic lights in the Baranilt Road area at the junction with Ballyhanedin Road, Londonderry on Tuesday, July 31.
Some time between 9.00pm and 11.30pm the batteries were stolen from traffic lights which were in place due to important roadworks being carried out.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information is asked to contact Police at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000.
