BBC expert at Hillhall WI
Hillhall WI president, Mrs Roberta Ferguson, welcomed the group’s October speaker, Mrs Gwen Gibson, who told members of her very interesting and varied 30-year career with BBC Northern Ireland’s Agricultural and Horticultural Department.
Gwen worked in both radio and television, producing programmes such as Farm Gate, Gardeners Corner, Farm View and Greenfingers. She also travelled the world making agricultural programmes with Northern Ireland connections.
