This is also the 50th store in the UK & Ireland for the Irish owned company, which has created 11 full and part time jobs.

Banbridge Buskfest was the inspiration for the interior design of the new store at The Outlet. Featuring quirky and playful décor, clever references to busking can be seen throughout, such as wall hats with coins and a large print of a vintage ’street quarter’ at the service counter.

bbs, founded in 1985, is famous for their delicious muffins, which are freshly baked onsite every morning by their master bakers. As well as selling over two million muffins in UK & Ireland, the company has its own-blend of espresso which was developed in partnership with their specialist Glasgow based coffee roasters Matthew Algie, who have been in the business since 1864.

Arlene Dermott, Store Manager of bb’s from Banbridge, commented: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Outlet for all their help and support with the opening of our first store in Northern Ireland and our 50th store in our portfolio.

“It’s not only a fantastic location and fit for the brand but we are delighted that we can show off bb’s character through our unique store décor.

“We hope visitors enjoy their bb’s experience and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the new store.”

bb’s officially opened its doors at The Outlet on Wednesday December 9 and as part of the opening the first 100 customers received a free muffin and local busker and winner of Buskfest 2014 Matthew Malcolm performed to customers.
