Be a '˜nominatedneighbour' PSNI

The PSNI’s “Nominated Neighbour” scheme ensures that a vulnerable neighbour does not have to speak to any unrecognised callers at the front door.

It means that a neighbour must verify the caller’s identity before any approach can be made and if necessary, accompany the caller.

If it cannot be confirmed that a caller is on legitimate business, they should be asked to make an appointment. If an unknown caller continues to gain entry, call the police.
