The theme for the Active Travel to school day was ‘Be Safe, Be Seen’.

Jenni Miller, principal of the Belfast Road school, explained all the children and mums and dads were encouraged to dress in neon colours to highlight being safe at night and on dark mornings.

She added: “We are also encouraging more combo journeys to school to get parents to park further away and

walk the rest of the journey.”
