Bed Push raises £1,928.50

Three young people from the Ballymoney area have pledged to raise £1,000 each in a fundraising climb of the three highest mountains in Spain - and thanks to the generosity of the general public they are alreay two thirds of the way there.

Hannah Holmes, Samuel Hanna and Ashleigh Calderwood plan to complete the Los Tres Picos Challenge 2012 by climbing the three highest peaks in a three day challenge!

Each of the trio have nominated a vision4kids project to benefit from their efforts, which is a new Christian based charity with a vision of helping children and young people around the world wherever there is a need to improve the quality of life.

As part of the fundraising Hannah, Samuel and Ashleigh organised a bed push in Ballymoney town centre last Friday and raised a staggering £1,928.50.

Speaking to the Times after the event the trio wished to thank everyone adding ‘we were amazed at the generosity of be Ballymoney public and would like to thank them and also those that helped through the day’.
