Beggs welcomes Glynn Railway bridge work
East Antrim MLA Roy Beggs has welcomed work on a replacement bridge at Glynn Railway Station.
Mr Beggs stated: “The work has progressed well, with the contractor working with a narrow one week window to remove the old structure and return it to use. “We all have to appreciate the assistance of the local residents in enabling access which has been helpful to the contractors carrying out their work.
“I am also led to believe that the train is now back in operation and I would like to put on record my support for the further investment and long term commitment to the infrastructure of this section of the Larne Line.”
