Bellaghy men deny assault charge
Two Bellaghy men pleaded not guilty to assault when they appeared at Magherafelt Magistrates Court.
James McErlain (22), and Joseph McErlain (19), both of Killyberry Road, are accused of assaulting Luke Smith, causing him actual bodily harm
The charge arises out of an alleged incident outside a nightclub in Rainey Street car park at Magherafelt on April 6-7 last year.
District Judge Alan White adjourned the case until April 20 to fix a contest date.
