Ben Gentle’s funeral to take place this morning

One of Lurgan’s best known characthers, Ben Gentle will be laid to rest today.

Mr Gentle, passed away suddenly on Thursday.

Mr Gentle was 49 years old and was originally from the William St area of Lurgan.

Ben was married to Rosemary and was the father of four children Jimmy, Colleen, Ciara and Eimear and a loving grandfather.

His remains will be reposing at his home at 30 Carrigart Manor until this morning.

The funeral will take place from his parent’s home at 93 William St, Lurgan at 11.15am to St Peter’s Church for 12 noon Requiem Mass.

Ben was a very popular man and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
