Bendooragh man fined
A BENDOORAGH man caught drinking on streets in Ballymoney twice within nine days has been fined a total of £110 and has to pay costs of £104.
Frank Morgan (26) unemployed of Brookevale, had the offences detected at Garryduff Road on May 18 and then at Church Street on May 27, a court in Coleraine was told on Friday.
Drinking on the streets is banned at both locations.
A defence solicitor said her client was on his way to parties on both occasions and she claimed that when first caught Morgan was unaware of the street drink ban at that location.
