The Benvarden Friendship and Craft Group meet every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Benvarden Orange Hall and those involved look forward to honing their skills as well as helping charities in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.

During the two hours members are taught knitting, crochet and sewing and it is hoped to expand as the group requires.

Organisers have been greatly encouraged by the response so far and would welcome both learners and experienced
crafters.

Anyone interested can come along and enjoy a cuppa, share crafts and make new friends.

On another positive side, members have connected with a charity in Uganda which needs baby knits and it is hoped to support this and other worthwhile charities supplying cardigans, blankets etc.

To raise funds for the group members are holding a car boot and craft sale on Saturday, April 12 at Benvarden hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
