Bernie cuts the ribbon for first exhibition

LARNE photographer Bernie McAllister has put her talents on show through her first exhibition.

Through a Glass Darkly officially opened in Larne Museum and Arts Centre, Victoria Road, last Wednesday evening and has attracted a lot of interest so far.

Bernie, who has always been passionate about photography, recently completed LEDCOM's Go for It programme, through which she has set up her own business, Argyll Images, to deal with all manner of photographic needs.

The exhibition shows the wide variety of her work, from atmospheric landscapes to quirky portraits. They all show Bernie's keen photographic eye and attention to detail.

Rachael McMaster, Larne council's arts and events officer encouraged the public to view the exhibition.

"It is a wonderful exhibition and really shows the quality of Bernie's work. It's so good to be able to display such a hidden local talent," she said.

Through a Glass Darkly is just one of many varied and interesting exhibitions planned by Larne Museum and Arts Centre for 2010.
