Beyond our short and darkened vision is a land of perfect day
“God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son.” John 3:16
Easter truly reminds us how blessed we are
God has provided His children a way,
Far beyond our short and darkened vision
Which leads to a land of perfect day.
When He gave His only begotten son
Who gave His life on that cruel tree,
Even then Jesus cried “forgive them Lord
For they know not what they do.”
How Mary cried, alone and bewildered
When she discovered the empty grave,
He faithfully carried out His father’s wishes
A dying world to save.
Yes, he defeated death and rose again
The Bible declares “all things new”,
As Jesus left and returned to His father,
He said “My peace I leave with you.”
