BHF thank peopleof Coleraine

British Heart Foundation (BHF) Northern Ireland has thanked the people of Coleraine and its surrounding area for turning their unwanted boots, bags and books into our life-saving work including 37 Heartstart schemes, which teach emergency life support and CPR training to local schools and businesses.

Volunteering hours, donations and purchases by local people in cities and towns such as Coleraine has raised a staggering £149,000 over the past year in our Northern Ireland shops - money which has helped to support over 100 healthcare professionals across Northern Ireland.

Philip Kee, BHF Northern Ireland Area Support Manager, says: “We’re truly overwhelmed with the ongoing generosity of the local community in Coleraine.

“We’re so grateful to all our supporters and want to thank every single person who has joined us in the fight against heart disease,” he added.
