Biesty’s in business ‘Oscars’ finals night in Burlington

Biesty’s Centra based in Ballymoney is in line to win the top prize at this year’s National Q Mark Awards, having seen off tough competition from hundreds of excellent Irish businesses.

Irene Collins, the Managing Director of Excellence Ireland Quality Association, announced that the team from Biesty’s Centra have exceeded the normal standards of quality and excellence and have set the standard that all other convenience stores should be aiming for. She went on to say that, “The nomination in this category recognises that Biesty’s Centra is operating at the highest standard of Hygiene and Food Safety in the country.”

On hearing that they had been nominated for this prestigious award, Rea Turner, Store Manager said, “The whole team at Biesty’s Centra Ballymoney are delighted to be nominated again for this award. Maintaining food safety, to a Q Mark level, is a daily part of their duties, so it is great to be recognised as doing a good job”.

This year’s star-studded Q Mark awards ceremony will take place in Dublin’s Burlington Hotel on September 27th in ‘The Oscar’s of Business Excellence’.
