Big healthy breakfast aids Cancer Research group

BALLYCASTLE Cancer Research group are busy making preparations on their annual 'Big Breakfast' in the Presbyterian Church Hall on Friday, March 5.

The event, which will run from 8am to 12noon is part of nationwide campaign to raise funds for vital research into one of Northern Ireland’s biggest killers.

It is widely thought that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the group to introduce people to a healthy alternative to an Ulster fry. This is the 10th year of the breakfast and the Ballycastle based group need the support of the public. They hope to encourage as many people as possible to make a date with them and support Cancer Research Northern Ireland.

In the past Big Breakfast has received tremendous support from people in and around the town and it is hoped that the 2010 event will be no exception. Everyone is urged to participate in what promises to be a fun and tasty event. On offer will be fruit juice, cereal, porridge, boiled egg, toast and tea and coffee to wash it all down.
