Big Lottery funding for Carrickfergus College

Carrickfergus College has received funding to support its drive to improve pupils’ emotional health and wellbeing.

The Big Lottery Fund grant of £8,150 will be used to facilitate PIPS (suicide prevention and mental health) training in school.

A statement from the school added: “The hope is that this will have a significant positive impact not only on the pupils and staff of Carrickfergus College but also on the wider community.

“The school are delighted to have received this award and hope that the training will be of benefit to all pupils and staff. Thanks must go to the Big Lottery Fund for this opportunity.”
