Big turnout at funeral of Coleraine motorcyclist

The funeral has taken place of the Coleraine motorcyclist who died after a crash in Hannahstown, just outside Belfast, on Easter Sunday.

The service for dad of two David Anderson (42) was held at his Ashbourne Park home in Coleraine on Thursday afternoon. He was buried afterwards at Coleraine cemetery.

Family and friends - including over 200 bikers - attended the funeral.

The local man was involved in a crash on the Tornagrough Road at the junction of Rusheyhill Road shortly before 4.30pm on Sunday.

Mr Anderson is survived by his partner Deborah, sons Lewis and Charlie, brother John and sister Samantha.

PSNI Inspector Jim McGrillen is continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Collision Investigation Unit or local Police in Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101.
