Big year looms for Pride of Knockmore
The new year is shaping up to be a big one for Lisburn’s Pride of Knockmore Flute Band as it marks its 40th anniversary.
The band resumes practice on Monday (January 12), from 7.30pm, in the Laganview Enterprise Centre at Old Warren.
A spokesperson said: “Learner fluter, male and female, and experienced fluters, as well as side-drummers and bass-drummers are welcome.” Christmas draw winners were 1, Rodney Babs; 2, Aaron Killough; 3, Sammy Hall.
“The band would take this opportunity,” the spokesperson said, “to thank the people of Lisburn and surrounding areas for their continued support.”
