“Sadly we were seven makes short of beating the World Record of 31 but there is always next year.

“I would like to thank the organisers and the owners of the bikes for their very valiant attempt – the bikes were an impressive display in the City Centre.

“The Lego workshops were also a great success with many young people making use of the four different activity zones and building whatever structure came to mind.

“We also welcomed many other family members along to sit and enjoy the improved space while the children took part.

“Many visited the local retail outlets and coffee shops enjoying everything Lisburn has to offer,” concluded Councillor Mackin.

Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council would like to wish all of the riders, teams, organisers and visitors a great 2016 MCE Insurance Ulster Grand Prix.
