Set in Liverpool, against the backdrop of poverty and increasing unemployment, it tells the story of twin brothers Mickey and Eddie who having been separated at birth find their lives inextricably linked, while both of them remain unaware of their family connections.

This is a powerful and moving story which weaves a complex and tragic tale, peppered with moments of joyfulness and unhappiness.
