Blooms Easter flowers for Aunt Margaruite

Margaruite McCarry is our Easter winner of the Blooms Bouquet of the Month, thanks to her niece.

In an email to the Times, Nicola McGregor from Bushmills explained: ‘I would like to put forward my aunt Margaruite McCarry. She is one of the most unselfish people I have ever met. She married into our family on the 1st of March 2009 and had moved in with my uncle and my elderly grandmother just prior to this.

‘She holds down a full time job but also gives extra special care to both my Grandmother who is 92 and also to my uncle (whom she married who has bronchitis). Both of them want for nothing, she does everything for them from making them home cooked meals daily even going to the degree on the mornings that she is starting work at 8am she would be up and have the house neat and tidy having everything done up to the floors being washed.

‘She also would have my grandmothers medication done and have given her breakfast, she would then proceed to have everything that my uncle would require ready for him for as soon as he got up so that he only has to add water so to speak.

‘Even Christmas with the terrible weather, she was out shovelling snow from the front of the house, as well as keeping on top of everything else, she’s a truly amazing and unselfish person who needs to be recognised.’
