Boardmills WI welcome in new year
The January meeting of Boardmills WI kicked off with a warm welcome from the President Ray Gould. The speaker was Agnes Black our international officer who showed slides of the ACWW European Area Conference in Bergen Norway which was very informative and enjoyed by all.
The competition a holiday souvenir was judged by pennies for friendship was won by Margaret Robinson.
The Institute quiz also took place and Nan McBride, Agnes Black and Valerie Shiels will be going forward to the area quiz. The birthday girl was Rosalind Foo.
