Boiler replacement scheme welcomed
Lisburn South Alliance Councillor Amanda Grehan has welcomed the Department for Social Development’s announcement that £2 million has been made available for the continuation of the Boiler Replacement Scheme.
The scheme helps people to replace their existing boilers and will now run until March 2016.
Councillor Grehan commented: “Homeowners earning less than £40000 gross income with a boiler 15 years old or more are eligible to apply for the scheme.” She added: “I would encourage anyone who is eligible to contact the N.I Housing Executive who administers the scheme.”
