Bomb alert

The find came just a day after the bomb squad inspected a suspicious device at Lurgan police station.

A suspicious object was recovered during a security alert at the back of the station on Tuesday morning.

A number of items were later removed for further examination.

The police appealed for information, a spokeswoman said: "We would like to hear from anyone who observed suspicious activity in the area or who has information about crime to contact police in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.”
